Masaru Yoshitake

Profile

Masaru YOSHITAKE was the recipient of many prizes including: the 1st Prize at Iizuka Music Competition (2009); the 1st Prize at Kazusa Akademia Music Competition (2009). He was also the finalist at the Music competition of Japan(2012), Semifinalist at the Geneva International Music Competition(2014). He has also worked with numerous orchestras. He graduated from the Tokyo University of the Arts in 2009 after which he began studying at the Universität der Künste Berlin under Prof. Jacques Rouvier on a scholarship from the Rohm Music Foundation since fall, 2010. After graduating in 2014, he continued studying on the Soloist course “Konzertexamen”, and graduated in 2016. Now he is living in Tokyo, and teaching at Toho Gakuen School of Music and Tokyo University of the Arts as a Docent.
